I recently stayed at Monsoon Riverside Hotel, and honestly, it was a mixed bag. The hotel has a great location near the riverside and plenty of restaurants, but the noise from the nightlife can really disrupt your sleep. The staff were friendly and did their best, but the management left a lot to be desired.

Rooms
6.0
The room I had was clean and came with all amenities, but I did encounter issues with the air conditioning not working properly. It wasn't a big deal during the day, but at night it got pretty uncomfortable.
Service
5.0
The staff were friendly and tried to help, but there were communication issues which made it hard to resolve problems quickly. I felt they genuinely wanted to assist but lacked the resources to do so.
Location
6.0
The hotel is in a busy area with lots of bars and restaurants, which is great for nightlife, but be prepared for noise that goes on late into the night. It's also really convenient for strolling along the riverside.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast menu was a la carte and had some decent options, but the selection was a bit limited. However, the ambiance was nice for a morning meal.
Facilities
5.0
I appreciated the hotel had amenities like a tuk-tuk service and tours available, but I felt they could improve on the housekeeping and maintenance issues I faced during my stay.

My stay at Monsoon Riverside Hotel was a mixed bag. The location is bustling with nightlife, which adds a vibrant energy, but the noise can be overwhelming at times. I found the rooms clean and well-appointed, but my experience was marred by management issues and inconsistent service.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were stylish and clean, but I had some trouble, especially with the air conditioning and hot water supply. It felt like a gamble on room functionality during my stay.
Service
5.0
I appreciated the friendly staff who genuinely tried to assist, but the overall service was hampered by the apparent lack of management and efficiency.
Location
7.0
The location on a lively street is convenient for exploring the area's nightlife and dining options, but the noise from bars made it hard to sleep at times.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was decent, offering a la carte options that were tasty, though I didn’t try dinner since I spent most evenings out.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel offers essential amenities like housekeeping and laundry, yet the absence of an elevator was a hassle, especially for carrying luggage to the higher floors.

My stay at Monsoon Riverside Hotel was a mix of good and not-so-great experiences. The hotel had friendly staff and was conveniently located near vibrant nightlife. but the noise levels from nearby bars made it hard to relax at times. While I appreciated the unique decor and relatively comfortable rooms, the bed was definitely too firm for my liking.

Rooms
6.0
I found my room quite compact, with an awkward step down that felt a bit risky. The polished concrete floors were slick when wet. and the bed's firmness made it less comfortable than I'd hoped. However, I did enjoy the spacious balcony as a nice touch.
Service
6.0
The staff were generally friendly and helpful, assisting me with any questions I had. However, I did have a disappointing experience when issues arose regarding hot water, as the response from the staff was less than satisfactory.
Location
6.0
The location was lively, situated on a street filled with bars, which can be entertaining but also quite loud at night. I personally didn’t mind the noise, but it might be bothersome for light sleepers.
Dining
6.0
Breakfast was available, but I found it somewhat pricey for what was offered, at $5-6 USD for simple items like eggs and toast. It was tasty nonetheless, and there was a decent variety of options—both Western and Asian.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel provided basic facilities with options for tours and shuttle services. but I would have liked to see more amenities to enhance the experience.

I recently had a stay at Monsoon Riverside Hotel, and it was a mixed bag. The location is super close to the riverside and plenty of bars, but it's also really noisy at night, which made it tough to relax. The staff were friendly and helpful, but some things like the hot water were a real letdown during my stay. Overall, it wasn’t the best experience for the price I paid.

Rooms
5.0
My room was clean and had a nice space, but the bed was too hard for my liking. Also, the glass sliding door made me feel a bit vulnerable to outside noise.
Service
6.0
The staff were warm and willing to help, but the lack of hot water was disappointing, and I got the sense it was a common complaint.
Location
5.0
The hotel is right in the thick of things, near bars and restaurants, but the noise from partying well into the night was pretty unbearable for me.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was promised but didn't show up, so that was a bit of a letdown. At least there were freshly made sandwiches nearby.
Facilities
5.0
It offered some useful services like airport shuttles and tours, but the facilities didn’t really stand out during my stay.

I loved the funky decor in the lobby, but my room was disappointingly tiny with an awkward step down that felt dangerous. The bed was extremely firm, which made my stay uncomfortable. On the brighter side, the hotel's location was perfect for nightlife and the staff was incredibly helpful. Breakfast had good options too, both Western and Asian, and the air conditioning worked well.

Rooms

The room was tiny and the bed very firm, plus a risky step down into it.
Service

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, making the stay nicer despite other issues.

Centrally located in the Red Light district, great for nightlife but could be noisy.
